Stan Store is the better pick if you sell from your phone and your link in bio: it costs $29 or $99 a month, takes 0% of sales, and is set up in an afternoon. Kajabi is the better pick if you want a full business platform with a website, unlimited email, funnels, and a community: it costs $179, $249, or $499 a month and also takes no cut of sales. Neither charges a percentage, so the choice comes down to how much of Kajabi you'd really use. If you want courses, coaching, and AI products from a bio link for $29, Eden is a third option.

Full disclosure: we make Eden, which we cover as a third option at the end. Stan's numbers come from its pricing blog and help center. Kajabi's come from its pricing page and help center. All were checked in September 2026. Card processing (about 2.9% + 30¢ per US sale) applies on both.

The short read: Stan is a store that lives in your Instagram or TikTok bio. Kajabi is the whole back office: website, email, funnels, community, and courses in one place, priced to match.

Price and fees

Both charge a flat monthly price and take no percentage of your sales. That makes the math simple: the gap is just the plan price.

PlanMonthlyBilled yearlyPer year (monthly billing)
Stan Creator$29$300 a year$348
Stan Creator Pro$99$948 a year$1,188
Kajabi Basic$179$143/mo$2,148
Kajabi Growth$249$199/mo$2,988
Kajabi Pro$499$399/mo$5,988

Stan Creator costs $150 a month less than Kajabi Basic. That's $1,800 a year, at any sales level. Stan Creator Pro is $80 a month less than Kajabi Basic.

The smaller fees are different on each:

  • Stan. You pay Stripe or PayPal processing. Stan's help center lists a payout fee of 0.25% + 25¢ (at least $1) each time you cash out, and an extra 1% when you sell in a currency different from your Stripe account's. More in Stan Store fees.
  • Kajabi. Kajabi Payments costs 2.9% + 30¢ on Basic, 2.8% + 30¢ on Growth, and 2.7% + 30¢ on Pro for US sellers. If you use another payment provider instead (PayPal excluded), Kajabi adds 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth, or 0.5% on Pro.

Kajabi also caps your list. Basic includes 2,500 contacts, Growth 25,000, and Pro 100,000. Its pricing page says extra contacts come in blocks of 25,000 for $125 a month.

What each Kajabi plan adds

Every Kajabi plan includes unlimited funnels, landing pages, and marketing emails, a website, a community, courses, coaching, and a custom domain. The limits and extras change by plan:

Kajabi planProductsContactsAdmin usersWhat it adds
Basic52,5002The core platform
Growth5025,00011Affiliate programs, cohort courses, advanced automations, comment-to-DM, no branding
ProUnlimited100,00026Branded mobile app, API, custom code editor, 3 websites and 3 communities

The catch on Basic: five products is not many if you sell a course, a coaching offer, a membership, and a few downloads. And Kajabi branding stays on until Growth.

What each Stan plan includes

Creator ($29) covers the basics well: a mobile-friendly store, unlimited digital products, an unlimited course builder, calendar and booking for coaching calls, recurring subscriptions, a community, email collection with lead magnets, store analytics, and Stan AutoDM for Instagram.

Creator Pro ($99) adds the selling tools: discount codes, limited-quantity offers, upsells and order bumps, funnels, payment plans (Stan Payments, Afterpay, Klarna), affiliate management, contact importing, email broadcasts and flows, and pixel tracking for Meta, Google, Pinterest, and TikTok.

What Stan doesn't do: there's no website builder, and Stan's help center says you can't use a custom domain. You can forward a domain you own to your stan.store link instead.

Courses, coaching, and community

Courses. Both can host a full course. Kajabi goes deeper, with cohort courses from Growth, video transcriptions and translations, and a branded app on Pro. Stan's course builder is simpler and comes with no course limit on its $29 plan.

Coaching. Kajabi has a coaching product with its own scheduler that connects to Google or Outlook calendars, built-in live video, and client resources in one program. It also works with Calendly. Stan has calendar and booking built into its $29 plan, which is enough for selling single calls from your bio.

Community. Both have one. Kajabi gives you one community on Basic and Growth and three on Pro. Stan includes community on Creator.

Email, website, and funnels

This is Kajabi's real advantage. On every plan you get unlimited marketing emails, a full website on your own domain, unlimited landing pages, and unlimited funnels. If you'd otherwise pay for a separate email tool and website, Kajabi's price starts to make sense. Kajabi's own pitch is that it replaces several tools at once.

Stan keeps email and funnels on its $99 plan and has no website. For many creators that's fine: the store is the website, and the bio link is the front door.

Which one should you pick?

  • Choose Stan Creator if you sell from Instagram or TikTok, have a handful of products, and want the lowest flat price with 0% fees.
  • Choose Stan Creator Pro if you need upsells, discount codes, email broadcasts, or affiliates, but don't need a website.
  • Choose Kajabi Basic if you want a real website, unlimited email, and funnels in one place, and five products is enough.
  • Choose Kajabi Growth if you run affiliates or cohorts, have a list over 2,500, or sell more than five products. It's the plan most full-time course businesses land on.

A third option: Eden

Eden sits between the two. Like Stan, it's built around a bio link and starts at $29. Like Kajabi, it sells the full range of expert products.

  • Selling starts at $29 a month (Starter), plus 5% per sale. Discount codes, order bumps, and timed sales are on that plan. Pro at $79 adds up to 3 one-click upsells, Meta Pixel tracking, and an affiliate program where Eden pays your affiliates. Stan puts most of these on $99 and Kajabi puts affiliates on $249.
  • Courses, cohorts with live sessions, downloads, memberships, and bundles.
  • Coaching with call packages, applications for high-ticket offers, booking on your Google Calendar with Google Meet links, a private space for each client, and an AI clients can use between calls.
  • Custom AI products: an AI trained on your course or method that buyers chat with. See how to sell a custom AI.
  • A free link-in-bio page on every plan at your-handle.eden.so.
  • Signups and buyers go to your list in Kit, beehiiv, GoHighLevel, or Substack.

Where Eden falls short, honestly:

  • Stan Creator is cheaper at every sales level. Both cost $29, and Stan takes 0% where Eden takes 5%.
  • Eden Pro ($79 plus 5%) is cheaper than Stan Creator Pro until you sell about $400 a month. Eden Starter is cheaper than Kajabi Basic until about $3,000 a month. Past that, the flat price wins.
  • Eden has no built-in email broadcasts, no community space (cohorts link out to your Discord or other group), no funnel builder, no website builder, and no custom domain. Kajabi has all of these.
  • Eden isn't a merchant of record, so sales tax is yours to handle.

How to sell on Eden

  1. Sign up at app.eden.so and claim your handle.
  2. Open Your store → Products → New product and pick a type: course, coaching, download, and more.
  3. Add your content and set a price.
  4. Upgrade to Starter and publish. The product shows up on your page on its own.
  5. Paste your page link into your bio.

Building products is free on any plan. You only pay once you publish.
