Building a voice Custom AI
Turn your writing style into a Custom AI. Eden studies your samples, writes a voice profile document you can read and edit, and drafts in your cadence from then on.
A voice Custom AI captures how you write — cadence, vocabulary, structure, the phrases you'd never use — so drafts come out sounding like you instead of like AI. Eden studies your writing, writes the profile down as a real document you can read, and uses it every time you draft.
Build it
Open Custom AI, press create, and choose Build a Voice. The builder asks for material to study:
- paste your best writing, or
- point it at your published work, or
- start from a creator whose style you're using as a reference while your own develops.
It analyzes the samples and produces a voice profile: your rhythm, sentence patterns, vocabulary, formatting habits, and avoid/prefer rules. You review it, correct anything that reads wrong, and save.
The profile is a document, not a secret
Your voice profile lives in your Library as an ordinary document — open it, read it, edit it like any note. The voice Custom AI reads it as a live source, so editing the document changes how the AI writes from then on.
Because it's a normal document, it's reusable: attach the same voice profile to your Newsletter Writer, your thread drafter, and your client brand AIs. One voice, maintained in one place, used everywhere.
Using it
Chat with the voice Custom AI directly — paste a rough draft and ask for a pass in your voice, or give it a topic and let it draft. It works from the profile plus any writing samples you attached, and the context line under each reply shows what it drew on.
More than one voice
Voices are just Custom AIs, so make as many as you need:
- Your voice for the newsletter, and a tighter variant for X.
- A client's voice for agency work, built from their published material.
- A brand voice shared by a team, so everyone drafts from the same profile.
A useful voice profile is specific: three strong samples of the writing you want more of beat twenty mixed ones. If you write very differently in two places, build two voices.
Create your first Custom AI
Three ways to build one — a guided chat that interviews you, a voice builder that studies your writing, or a blank form where you set everything yourself.
Use case: write with a creator's voice
Study how a great writer actually works — their hooks, cadence, and structure — and draft with those patterns while your own voice develops.
Use case: one Custom AI per client
For agencies, freelancers, and ghostwriters — give every client their own sealed AI carrying that brand's voice, positioning, and material, so nothing bleeds between accounts.
