Add Custom AI buyers to your email list with Zapier

What you'll need

• A published Custom AI product (how to sell your Custom AI).
• A Zapier account. Webhooks by Zapier is available on every plan.
• An account with your email platform, connected to Zapier.

Step 1: Catch the webhook in Zapier

   Create a Zap

   In Zapier, click Create → Zaps. For the trigger, search Webhooks by Zapier and pick it.

   Choose the Catch Hook event

   Set the event to Catch Hook and continue. Leave Pick off a Child Key empty.

   Copy the webhook URL

   Zapier shows a URL that starts with https://hooks.zapier.com/hooks/catch/…. Copy it.

Step 2: Paste it into Eden

   Open your sales dashboard

   In Eden, go to Custom AIs → Sell your AI → Open sales dashboard, or open app.eden.so/sales.

   Save the URL

   Scroll to Automations, paste the Zapier URL, and click Save and turn on. Eden shows a signing secret. Zapier does not need it.

   Send a test

   Buy or claim one of your products with a different email, then go back to Zapier and click Test trigger. Zapier finds the request and lists its fields: buyerEmail, productTitle, event, status, and more.

Step 3: Add the buyer to your list

Add an action step and pick your platform. Map buyerEmail to the email field. Use productTitle as a tag so you know which product they bought.

Kit (ConvertKit) Action: Add Subscriber to Form or Add Tag to Subscriber. Choose the form that starts your welcome sequence. Map buyerEmail to Email. If you use tags, create one per product and map it by name.

Mailchimp Action: Add/Update Subscriber. Pick your audience, map buyerEmail to Subscriber Email, set status to Subscribed, and add productTitle under Tags.

beehiiv Action: Create Subscription. Map buyerEmail to Email. Set Send Welcome Email to yes if you want your beehiiv welcome to go out. Add productTitle as a custom field if you track it.

MailerLite Action: Create or Update Subscriber. Map buyerEmail to Email and choose a group for buyers.

ActiveCampaign Action: Create or Update Contact, then a second action Add Tag to Contact with productTitle.

Turn the Zap on. Every new buyer now lands on your list within a few seconds.

Handling refunds

If you want refunds to remove a tag or move the buyer, duplicate the Zap, change the filter to purchase.refunded, and use your platform's Remove Tag or Unsubscribe action. Many creators skip this and keep refunded buyers on the list.

If nothing arrives

• Check the URL in Eden matches the one in Zapier exactly. It must start with https://.
• Zapier's test only looks for recent requests. Send a fresh test purchase, then test the trigger again.
• Zapier only shows requests from the last few days in Zap History. If the Zap is off, requests are not stored.
