Eden MCP quick start: research social data inside Claude
Connect Eden to Claude in about a minute, then search proven posts, research creators, and run your saved prompts — all grounded in real social data that other AI tools can't see.
The Eden MCP puts your social research right inside Claude. Once it's connected you can search proven, high-performing posts, research any creator, and run your saved prompts — without leaving the chat, and grounded in real data instead of guesses.
Get up and running
Setup takes about a minute. You'll need an Eden account first, then you connect once, sign in, and Claude can research with Eden from then on.
- 01
Create your Eden account
If you don't have one yet, sign up for Eden — it's free to start. Your workspace is where your social research, saved prompts, and connections live, and it's what Claude reaches into once connected. Already have an account? Skip to step 2.
- 02
Connect Eden to Claude
In Eden, open Settings → Integrations and click Add to Claude on the "AI assistants (MCP)" card. It opens Claude's connectors page with Eden pre-filled — click through to confirm. Full walkthrough (including Cursor and ChatGPT) in connect Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
- 03
Sign in once
Claude opens a small Eden sign-in window so it can research on your behalf. Approve it and you're done — Claude never sees your password.
- 04
Start asking
In a new Claude chat, ask something like "find me proven posts about cold email" or "what are <creator>'s top outliers?" If you connected before new tools shipped, refresh the tools so the latest capabilities show up.
What you can do
Three things make the Eden MCP worth wiring up:
- Search proven posts. Ask for high-performing posts on any topic and Eden searches its social index for the ones that actually broke out — not generic examples, but real posts with the engagement to back them up.
- Research creators. Pull any creator's profile: their standout posts, the categories they win in, and how their outliers compare to their baseline — the same research that powers Eden's Discover, now answerable inside Claude.
- Run your prompts. Every prompt you've saved in Eden shows up as an
/eden-slash command, so your prompt library works wherever you chat. See using your prompts as slash commands.
Why this is different
Most AI assistants brainstorm from their training data. They have no idea what's performing on social right now, which posts overperformed, or what a specific creator is actually doing well — so they regress to safe, generic advice.
