The graph view: see your Library as a map
Graph view lays out everything you've saved as a living map — items cluster around the books, creators, boards, and concepts that connect them.
Graph view turns your Library into a map. Instead of a grid of cards, you see your saves clustered around what connects them — the book a set of highlights came from, the creator you keep saving, the board a project lives on, the concepts that echo across everything.
Open the Library and use the view switcher in the header to flip from grid to graph. Everything you've saved is laid out as a constellation: items as points, with larger hub nodes anchoring the groups they belong to.
Reading the map
The graph builds itself from your saves. You'll see a few kinds of hubs:
- Books gather the highlights you made while reading them, so a book you highlighted heavily shows up as a bright cluster.
- Creators gather the posts and videos you've saved from them.
- Boards gather the items you've placed on them, so your curation shows up as structure.
- Entities are the interesting one: the people, companies, products, books, and concepts Eden's AI finds inside your saves. When the same idea appears across a highlight, an article, and a note, an entity hub ties them together — connections you never made by hand.
Zoom out for the shape of your thinking: which topics dominate, which clusters are dense, what sits off on its own. Zoom in and the map reveals more — individual items brighten and hub spokes appear as you get closer.
Focus and customize
Click any hub to focus it: the map dims everything else and pulls that cluster forward, so you can see exactly what's gathered around one book, creator, or concept.
The Customize control lets you tune what's on the map. Under Show you can toggle boards, entities, highlights, social posts, documents, and links & media independently — useful when you want, say, a pure map of your highlights and the ideas that link them.
When to use it
- Rediscovery. Scanning the map surfaces saves you'd forgotten — the cluster you built three months ago is still there, waiting.
- Finding themes. Entity hubs show you what you're actually interested in, which is often a step ahead of what you think you're interested in. Useful raw material for deciding what to create next.
- Auditing a topic before you write. Focus the entity for your topic and you're looking at your complete source material in one view.
