Generate an image from your post

   Write the post first

   The image is rendered from your text, so write it before you generate. Short lines read best — the card sizes the text up for a quote-length post and scales it down as the post gets longer.

   Open the studio

   In the composer toolbar, click the photo icon (Turn this post into an image). The post image studio opens with a live preview on the left and controls on the right.

   Pick a format and a look

   Post card renders a social card — your profile photo, display name, verified badge, and @handle above the text. Text only is typography on a solid background. Carousel splits the post into a swipeable set of slides you can edit and reorder. Then choose a look, an aspect ratio, and a text size; the preview re-renders as you tweak.

   Add it or download it

   Add to post attaches the image; Download PNG saves it to your computer if you just want the file. When you opened the studio from a platform tab, a toggle lets you attach to only that platform or to all of them.

Make a card from any post link

The studio can also start from a post that already exists — yours or anyone's. Under Source, switch to From a link, paste a link to an X post, a LinkedIn post, a Threads post, or a Substack note or article, and click Fetch. The studio pulls in the post's text, the author's name, @handle, and profile photo, and the post's live engagement numbers.

When the post has engagement, an Engagement row appears with a pill for each count — likes, reposts, comments. Each pill toggles that number on or off the card, so you can show all of them, some, or none. The numbers come from the post itself; everything else (text, name, look) stays editable after the fetch.

Generate an image for one platform only

Sometimes only one platform should get the picture — an image card on LinkedIn and Instagram while X keeps the plain text thread.

   Open that platform's tab

   Above the composer, click the platform you want (for example LinkedIn). This is the same tab you use to customize the wording for that platform.

   Open the studio from that tab

   The image button inside a platform tab opens the studio seeded with this platform's text and this platform's account name and photo. Leave the footer toggle on Only that platform and the image attaches there alone.

Everything else on the post stays as it was. Nothing you add inside a platform tab reaches the other platforms, and generating again replaces the image instead of stacking up.

Where the profile photo comes from

Post-card looks pull your photo, name, and @handle from your connected accounts. Some platforms only hand us a small thumbnail of your photo, so Eden looks for the sharpest copy it can find — another platform where you use the same handle, or the copy in Eden's own creator index — before falling back to the small one. If no account is connected yet, connect one under Connected accounts and the card will fill itself in. When you fetch a post from a link, the card uses that post's author photo instead.

Ask Eve for one instead

You can also ask in chat: "turn this into a post image with my name on it" gives you the same post card, and "put the image on LinkedIn and Instagram but keep X text-only" attaches it to just those platforms when Eve schedules the post.
