Start a chat with Eve

   Open Eve

   Click Eve at the top of the sidebar, then New chat. Only the sidebar changes: the page you were on stays put until you open something. Click Workspace to get your boards back.

   Type or pick a starter

   Ask anything. On the computer, three example asks sit under the box, a new three each time, like How are my sales? Click one to put it in the box. On the phone app, tap a starter: Interview me, Find viral topics, or Write and schedule.

   Come back to it later

   Click the chat under Chats in Eve's sidebar. On the phone app it's also under Recent chats on Eve's page. Click New chat to start fresh.

The first time you open the Eve tab, a short tour shows what she can do. It ends on Tell Eve about you, a few quick questions she saves to memory.

Every chat in your workspace is Eve. Chats with a Custom AI are that Custom AI, not Eve.

Talk to Eve on your phone

On the iOS or Android app, press and hold the Eve button in the tab bar and talk. A waveform moves with your voice, like a voice memo. Let go to send it. Slide your finger away before you let go to cancel.

Chat beside a doc or board

Hold ⌥ (Alt on Windows) and click a chat, New chat, or Memory in Eve's sidebar to open it in a side pane, next to the doc or board you're on. You can also right-click a row and pick Open in Pane.

To bring something into the chat, type @ and pick a doc, a board, a saved post, or a creator. Eve reads it and works from it.

Find more things to ask

Eve's sidebar holds everything she can do:

Row	What it does
Memory	What Eve knows: about you, your voice, your key docs, and your skills.
Prompts	Hover it for content and business jobs. Click one to start it in a new chat.
Routines	Hover it for ready-made routines, or click New routine to make your own.
Custom AIs	Your Custom AIs, the team Eve can bring into any chat.
Starters	The main jobs, one click each.
Pinned	Chats you pinned (right-click a chat, then Pin).
Chats	Your newest chats. Click See more for older ones.

Make Eve yours

Under the box, Make Eve yours lists a few things that help her help you. Each one goes away once it's done.

Item	What it does
Tell Eve about you	A few short questions. She saves the answers to memory.
Teach Eve your voice	She learns how you write from your best posts.
Build your content strategy	Opens Strategy, where a short quiz finds your pillars.
Connect your accounts	Opens Settings → Social accounts so Eve sees what works.

See what finished while you were away

When a routine runs or something you sent to Eve is done, a card shows under Updates in a new chat. The Eve tab gets a dot until you look.

• Click Reply to open that chat and keep going.
• Click the × to clear a card.

What Eve remembers

Eve keeps a short memory of you: who you are, how you like to work, and what to avoid. Every chat in your workspace reads it. When you tell her something that will still be true later, she saves it and a Saved to memory note shows in the chat.

• She asks once or twice. If Eve doesn't know your name, what you do, or how you like her to talk, she may ask in one line at the end of a reply. Twice at most, a day apart. Skip it if you like.
• See or edit it. Click Memory in Eve's sidebar.
• Turn it off. Go to Settings → Eve and switch off Use memory.
• Use it in other apps. Claude, ChatGPT, and other apps connected to Eden can read and add to it. See use Eve in other AI apps.

Give Eve your key docs

Some things don't fit in a memory line, like your story, what you sell, or client results. Keep those in Library docs Eve looks up when a task needs them.

• Add one. Open Memory. Under About you, Your business, or Other docs, click Attach a doc (a PDF, EPUB, or text file), Write or paste, or From workspace. You can also drop a file on the section.
• Tell her in a chat. Share your story or your offer and Eve offers once to save it, like "Want me to save that to your story?" New parts join the same doc.
• Edit or remove. Open a doc to edit it like any doc. Remove it from Memory and it stays in your Library.

Bring in a Custom AI

Type / in any chat and pick a Custom AI from the Custom AIs tab. It answers that one message as its own card, and the chat keeps going. To talk to a Custom AI on its own, click Custom AIs in Eve's sidebar.
