Using boards, documents, and lists in the Eden MCP
Attach an Eden board or creator list to a chat in Claude or another connected app so it works from that material the whole time.
In Claude, open the + menu in the composer, pick Eden, and choose a board or creator list. The app reads it once and uses it for the rest of the chat. In any app, you can also just say "read my Hooks board."
What you can attach

Attach a document
Documents aren't in the menu because most workspaces have too many. Ask instead:
- "Find my document about Q3 planning."
- "Read it. I'll ask questions about it."
Apps without an attach menu
Ask in plain words. "Read my Hooks board, then answer from it." The app reads the board with Eden's tools and keeps it in the chat. This works in ChatGPT, Cursor, and coding agents.
Good uses
- Draft from a swipe file. Attach your Hooks board, then "write five hooks in this style."
- Compare two boards. Attach both and ask what's different.
- Study a group. Attach a creator list, then "what do these creators write about most?"
What attaching doesn't do
- It's a snapshot. If you change the board mid-chat, attach it again to see the change.
- It doesn't save anything. Saving back to Eden is a separate step the app takes with its tools, and only on a Read & write connection.
- It doesn't rank posts. For "top posts from this creator" or "how did my posts do," just ask. The app uses Eden's research and analytics tools.
