Connect your Ghost site

1. 01

   Make a key in Ghost

   In Ghost Admin, open Settings → Integrations and click Add custom integration. Name it Eden.

   Copy two things

   Copy the API URL and the Admin API key from that integration.

   Paste them into Eden

   In Eden, go to Settings → Social accounts → Ghost, click Connect Ghost, paste both, and click Connect site.

Have more than one site? Click Add site and repeat. Each site is its own account. Your site needs Ghost 5 or newer.

Publish an article

   Switch to Article

   In Publish, change the composer from Post to Article and write it.

   Turn on Ghost

   Click the Ghost chip next to X and Substack. With two or more sites, tick the ones you want.

   Choose how to send

   Under How to send, pick one. Nothing is picked the first time, so you can't email by mistake. Eden remembers your last pick for each site.

   Schedule or publish

   Schedule it like any post. Ghost publishes and emails at that time.

Ghost shows the whole cover image. Link previews (on X, iMessage, Slack) use your Substack · 1200 × 630 px crop when you've made one, so crop the cover once and it fits everywhere.

To keep part of the article for members, type / and pick Members-only cut. Everything below the line is for members only. Set Who can read it to Members or Paid members.

You can also ask Eden's chat or Eden MCP to schedule a Ghost article. It always asks how to send it first.

Finish it in Ghost instead

Click Save as Ghost draft on the Ghost tab. Eden sends it to Ghost as an unpublished draft and opens it in Ghost, where you can publish it yourself.

If something's not working

• Needs a new key next to your site: Ghost stopped accepting the key. Click it and paste a new Admin API key from the same integration.
• An amber mail icon on a sent post: it went live, but Ghost's email didn't send. Resend it from Ghost.
• No newsletter to pick: turn a newsletter on in Ghost, or choose Publish only.
