Klaviyo MCP: ask your email and SMS numbers in plain English

What Klaviyo's MCP server lets an AI read (campaigns, flows, segments, profiles, reports), the asks that pay off for a store or product business, and how to connect Klaviyo to Eden and put the campaign recap on a routine.

Klaviyo publishes an MCP server, so an AI assistant can read your email and SMS campaigns, flows, segments, profiles, and performance reports. Klaviyo is the marketing stack for creators who sell physical or digital products, and its reporting is deep enough that most people only look at the top line. An AI with the reports in front of it reads all of it. Here is what the server reaches, what to ask, and how to connect Klaviyo to Eden.

Full disclosure: we make Eden. The first two sections apply to any MCP client.

What an AI can reach in Klaviyo

  • Campaigns. Email and SMS sends, with their performance.
  • Flows. Your automations, from welcome series to abandoned cart, and how each step performs.
  • Segments and profiles. Who is on the list, how they are grouped, and what they have done.
  • Reports. Revenue attributed to email and SMS, by campaign and flow.

The asks that pay for themselves

"Which campaigns this month drove the most revenue, and what did they have in common?" Revenue attribution, read by something that can compare subject lines and send times at the same time.

"Where does the welcome flow lose people?" Step-by-step flow performance in one answer, instead of clicking through each email.

"Build a segment of profiles who bought once, more than 90 days ago, and have opened an email in the last 30." A win-back audience in one sentence.

"Compare SMS and email performance on the last three launches." The channel question, answered with your own numbers.

Connecting Klaviyo to Eden

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and click Sign in on Klaviyo. Approve the access in the window that opens.
  2. Eden lists the tools it found. They are live in every chat in the workspace right away.
  3. Ask for a number you already know, like last campaign's revenue, to confirm the right account is connected.

Switch off individual tools, pause, or remove the connection under Settings → Connectors. Details in the connectors help article.

Put the campaign recap on a routine

Eden's routines run a prompt on a schedule and email you the result:

  • Weekly recap. "Every Monday at 7am, summarize Klaviyo campaign and flow revenue for last week versus the week before. Name the best and worst send and why. End with one change to make this week."
  • Flow health. "On the first of each month, report each flow's step-by-step performance and flag any step whose click rate fell more than 20% versus the month before."

Each run lands in a fresh chat with the result waiting. Tell the routine to save its recap to a table and the months line up.

Klaviyo with the rest of the stack

Klaviyo tells you what email and SMS earned. Stripe tells you total revenue, and your site tells you what changed. Connected together, one ask covers it: "how much of this month's Stripe revenue came from Klaviyo sends, and which pages did those buyers land on?" The full guide walks through connecting the whole creator stack.
