Why Eden exists

Three problems this product was built around.

• Complex note systems don't work. Unless organizing notes is your full-time job, you lose the ideas you saved. Ideas are meant to be fuel for what you make, not to collect dust.
• Most social tools are gimmicks. They promise virality through tactics that can't be repeated, or they automate the whole thing so you never learn what actually works.
• Most AI tools are blind. ChatGPT and Claude are excellent, but they can't see social posts, your analytics, what's trending, or how a specific creator's content performs. Ask them for ideas and they guess.

Eden fits three kinds of people: the curator who saves ideas and needs to find them again, the creator who also needs to know what works, and the agent-first creator who wants all of it inside Claude or ChatGPT through the MCP.

The quick start (0:00 to 18:00)

The whole product is a three-step loop.

   Save ideas without organizing them

   Capture text, paste a link to a Substack article, YouTube video, or social post, or share straight from Instagram on the mobile app. Everything lands in your library. Eden auto-tags, auto-categorizes, and builds relations between items so you can find them later.

   Find proven ideas in Discover

   Discover surfaces outlier and top-percentile posts for the niches and platforms you pick, across X, Threads, YouTube, Substack, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. The corpus is 3 to 4 million posts and grows daily.

3. 03

   Organize and write on a board

   A board is a swipe file, an inspiration folder, or the desk where you write. Save the posts worth studying, then write your newsletter or scripts alongside them.

A Custom AI ties it together. The Custom AI tab has ready-made ones you can filter by category or platform: topic research, personal brand strategist, Substack newsletter writer, and more. Add one to your workspace, hit a starter prompt, and go.

Library: save now, find later

The library is the one place everything in your workspace lives. Boards hold references to library items, not copies, so nothing is ever duplicated.

• Add anything. Insert a link, create a document or card, upload media, or just drag and drop. Paste a URL with Cmd/Ctrl+V and it saves instantly.
• Cards vs documents. A card is a sticky note for a short, punchy idea. A document has a title and is where a newsletter, outline, or plan lives. Keeping ideas atomic as cards makes them easier to surface later.
• Reading list and reader mode. Save from the Chrome extension or mobile app to a read-later list. Reader mode works on Substack articles, X articles, YouTube transcripts, PDFs, and EPUBs. Select text to highlight it, and a highlight becomes its own item you can add to a board.
• Integrations. Under Settings → Integrations, connect Kindle, Snipd, Readwise, or RSS feeds. Import your X bookmarks or Substack saves. Forward an email to your capture address and it saves as a document.
• Views. Grid, list, and sources. In list view, use keyboard shortcuts to move fast: arrow keys to navigate, Shift to multi-select, B to add the selection to a board.
• Search. Type to search, or turn on AI search. Open the library in a side pane while you write and pull relevant ideas straight into the piece.

Why it matters: your saved ideas are what make your writing yours. Without them you end up chasing the same ideas as everyone else. Think of the library as a second subconscious that surfaces the right idea when you need it.

Discover: find what already works

Discover is a UI on top of the social corpus. Chat can search that same corpus in ways the feed can't, so ask it directly when you want something specific.

The reverse-engineer trick. This is the most useful thing in the walkthrough.

   Find a high-performing post

   It doesn't have to be in your niche. It just has to have performed.

   Boost it, then choose Reverse engineer

   Eden breaks the post down: the hook, the structure, the psychological levers behind why it worked. Far more than you'd notice watching it yourself.

   Ask it to interview you

   Say: "Interview me for unique content ideas, then help me apply the principles of that breakdown while guiding me through writing my own outline." The AI pulls ideas out of you instead of inventing them.

You are not copying the post. You are taking the packaging that worked and putting your own idea inside it. A great idea is like a gift: the content is what's inside, the packaging is what gets people to open it.

Under the Creators tab, search any creator, filter to their top posts, and study what works. Add creators to a list to read them as one feed. Don't know who's in your niche? Search by topic, or ask chat which creators cover it.

Boards: swipe file and writing desk

Boards do two jobs.

As a swipe file. One board per platform. Save the posts that inspire you, chat with the board later for ideas.

As a writing desk. The workflow from the video: one board per week, named for that week's topic. Start with a brain dump document, save the research (YouTube videos, articles, your own past posts) alongside it, then write the newsletter in the same board. The newsletter becomes the YouTube script, and short-form posts come out of both.

Two things make this work:

• Panes. Click the open-in-pane icon anywhere in Eden and it opens as a stack on the side. Write in the main pane and keep your research, a chat, and the scheduler open beside it. Cmd/Ctrl+K then Option+Enter opens a search result in a pane.
• Freeform view. Switch a board from grid to freeform and drag items where you want them. Double-click into a document to write in place. Drag from an item's connection dot and drop on empty canvas to spawn a chat already connected to it. Connect more items to bring them into that chat's context. Add sections, shapes, lines, and text.

Two shortcuts worth knowing: hold Cmd/Ctrl while dragging to snap to grid lines, and use the settings icon on a finished document to send to schedule or drafts.

Custom AI: focused research tools

A Custom AI is instructions, workspace knowledge, and creator perspectives in one focused AI. Think Claude Projects or NotebookLM, except you can add creators as sources.

The reason it beats a general chat: general AI is like Play-Doh. If you don't shape it, it gives you a generic answer. A Custom AI limits what the AI can reference, so the answer comes from sources that actually know the subject.

Three ways to make one:

• Use a prebuilt one. Browse Custom AI → Explore and add it to your workspace.
• Use the builder (recommended). Hit Build a Custom AI and describe what you want. It asks questions and assembles everything for you. Start from a prompt, a tutorial video, a board, a PDF, or a writing sample.
• Build from scratch. Only if you know exactly what you want in it.

What's inside one:

• Knowledge. Creators, boards, documents, YouTube links, PDFs, EPUBs, markdown, images, audio, and video.
• Source settings. Treat a creator as a mentor (learn their thinking) or a voice clone (write in their style). Add a use when rule so the AI knows when to reach for that source. It retrieves what's relevant instead of dumping everything into context.
• Configure. Name, icon, description, instructions, and conversation starters.

Sharing. Hit Share on any Custom AI to get a link. If you're an Eden affiliate, your code is appended automatically, so a Custom AI shared as a lead magnet or a course bonus earns recurring commission.

Eden MCP: all of this inside Claude

The MCP connects Eden's research, saved items, Custom AIs, and scheduling to Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT. Most social MCPs only reach your own accounts and can't publish. This one searches the whole corpus and schedules too.

Go to the MCP settings and hit Connect Claude, then approve. The fastest start is a prebuilt workflow: open Workflows, copy a setup prompt (Weekly Strategist, Content Command Center, Personal Brand Strategy, Idea Engine), and paste it into Claude Code or Claude Cowork. It walks you through the rest.

The Weekly Strategist searches millions of posts, grades them against what already works on your own accounts, and hands you a few bets for the week.

Publish: scheduling to every platform

Set this up under Settings → Social accounts first. Two concepts people mix up:

• A brand is a set of social accounts. You can connect multiple accounts on the same platform, but they belong to different brands.
• A schedule is a posting cadence plus the accounts on it. Group platforms that share content. In the video: X, Threads, and Substack on one schedule, Instagram and LinkedIn on another.

Then just write. The shared editor writes to every connected platform at once.

• Threads. Hit + or Cmd/Ctrl+Enter to add another post in the chain.
• Images. Attach one, or turn a post into a text-based image. If Instagram is active, a post without an image or video won't go to Instagram.
• Per-platform edits. Change the text under a specific platform tab and it switches from synced to customized. Different captions per platform, or an image on LinkedIn only.
• X and Threads extras. Auto-repost on an interval (the video uses every six hours, twice, removed after 24 hours), and a first comment for promotion, delayed by time or by engagement.
• Drafts. Ask chat to "add all of these ideas to my drafts" and they appear here. Treat AI output as a first draft, then rewrite it before scheduling.
• Analytics. Sent posts show their numbers. Ask chat what your analytics say and what to do differently next week.

There's also auto DM for the "comment this keyword and I'll send you the link" pattern on Instagram. You can set those up through the MCP in Claude too.
